FCE(T) - 2nd Combined Convocation Ceremony

It was ceremonies galore at Federal College of Education (Technical), Gusau as the College

successfully hosted its long awaited 2nd Combined Convocation Ceremony for its graduates from

1997 to 2007. The 2nd Combined convocation ceremony for the award of NCE

certificates and presentation of prizes to the best students in all subjects offered in the College

took place on Saturday, 5th July, 2008. Prior to that, activities lined up preparatory to the

main event included media briefing by Ag. Provost and members of the management on Thurs.

3rd July, 2008; pre-convocation lecture whose theme revolves round gender issues and

government reform programmes. There was also students’ variety show and cultural display on

Friday evening. This was capped with the convocation ceremony on Sat., 5th July, 2008 where

important dignitaries including the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency, Alh.

Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi, Dallatun Zamfara, Honorable Ministers, Members of the Legislature,

Commissioners, Royal Fathers, Top Civil Servants and Politicians graced the occasion.

10:20 am. - The procession will enter the convocation square while processional music is played. The assembly will remain standing as the procession enters in the following order.
